2nd technical committee meeting, July 1st, Den Haag (NL) (by Paul van de Lande, TNO)

On Wednesday 1 July 2015 the Technical Committee of CORE met at the TNO head office in The Hague. The technical committee consists of all Work Package Leaders of CORE.

The agenda of this all-day event started with a reflection on the first year of CORE by Gerwin Zomer, chairman of the meeting and technical coordinator of CORE. The ambitions and challenges of CORE were presented, with special attention for the shared vision of this complex and comprehensive project. An overview of all innovative products and services that are developed within CORE was presented. The better the research and demonstration activities in CORE are linked, the more successful the project will be.

Then the Work Package Leaders had the floor to present the objectives, interim results and planned activities in their WP’s. A constructive and fruitful discussion on the synergies and cooperation possibilities between the Work Packages took most of the time of the meeting. Various agreements on the exchange of information and experiences were made, concrete actions were formulated.

After an intensive day of work it was agreed by all participants that the meeting significantly contributed to the coherence and common objectives of CORE.
